Todd George Riddlesperger, 44, of Sacramento died Dec. 23, 2007 at U.C. Davis Hospital in Sacramento due to kidney complications.
Todd, born on April 10, 1963, was raised in Galt. He attended elementary school at Valley Oaks and Galt High School with the class of 1981. He was a welder for Reno Welding Works and R&R Welding. He was baptized in the Morro Bay SDA church in 2005. He loved the Lord and going to church, as well as the outdoors, golfing with his mom, going to the river and flea markets. His family and friends will miss him.
Surviving Todd are his parents, Dillard and LaVonne Riddlesperger of Galt; sister, Cindy (Riddlesperger) Shropshire of Elk Grove; niece and nephew, Danielle and Ryan Shropshire of Elk Grove; step-grandmother, Rosie Dause of Lodi; George Dause, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His grandparents, Millard and Callie Mae Riddlesperger preceded him in death.
Graveside services at Galt Cemetery were held Dec. 28 with Pastor Lloyd Henderson of the Galt SDA Church presiding.
Ben Salas Funeral Home of Galt handled arrangements.

Herminia Ramirez
Herminia Ramirez, 97, of Galt died on Dec. 22, 2007 at Beverly Living Center. She was born Oct. 12, 1910 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico.
Mrs. Ramirez had lived in the Galt aarea for about 12 years, coming here from San Jose after 80 years there. She spent her years as a housewife, and attended St. Christopher Parish. She was a member of the Galt Senior Citizen Club and enjoyed bingo and playing cards, crocheting and embroidery, singing and dancing, and most of all her flower garden.
Surviving are eight children and their spouses, Alice Lubers, Petra (Alex) Sabedra, Mary Ellen (John) Angel of Galt, Minnie (Ermando) Chavez, Lupe (Larry) Lambert, Linda (Raul) Garcia of Brentwood, Robert (Nela) Ramirez of Newman and Tony (Vangie) Ramirez of Gustine; sister, Rosa Delgado of Valley Spring; 34 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren and 57 great great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 28 with committal at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in San Jose.
Ben Salas Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Octavio Herrera
Octavio Herrera, 79, of Galt died Dec. 23, 2007 in Galt. He was born Oct. 12, 1910 in Merida, Yucatan and has lived in the Galt area since June 1967. He retired 17 years ago from Union Pacific Railroad as a carpenter journeyman after 38 years.
Surviving are his wife, Magdalena Herrera of Galt; children, Alfred, Michael, Tina Marie, Anthony and Richard, all of Modesto, Angelina of Yuba City, Marie of Sacramento and Ricardo of Galt; grandchildren, Ricardo Cordell and Paige Herrera.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Jan. 3 at 9 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Galt with burial following at Galt Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Ben Salas Funeral Home on Jan. 2 from 12 to 5 p.m., with Rosary following at 6 p.m. at St. Christopher’s church.
