Kicking off the soccer season

Galt Heald Staff - County Line kicked off the 2008 summer/fall soccer season with the Charles Driscoll Founders Cup Tournament held at Veterans Field on Aug. 2-3.
County Line finished second in the tournament, losing the championship game 6-2 Sunday morning.
County Line played two games on Saturday that qualified the team to play in Sunday’s championship game, coached by tournament director Sean Driscoll.
The team is still looking for players. The boys have to be 12 or 13 as of Aug. 1, 2008. Those interested can email Sean Driscoll for more information at sean_driscoll@sbcglobal.net.
The girls will take to the soccer field Aug. 9-10 at the County Line Kick Off Classic.
Five 16 and under teams, including the County Line Heat, Roseville Legacy, Healdsburg Flash, Sierra Haze, and Real FC ’94 will play at Estrellita High School.
Four 14 and under teams, including the County Line Rebels, County Line Rebels (Porter), Lady Aresenal ’95 Prospector and Patterson United will play at Veterans Field, while four 19 and under teams, including the County Line Rebels, Livermore Elite Crush 91, Vacaville United Rush and Elk Grove Explosion will also play at Veterans Field.
