Last chance to view groundbreaking exhibition in Sacramento

The Bodies Revealed anatomical exhibition offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for visitors of all ages to take an inside look at the human body and how it functions. This world-famous attraction is scheduled for a final weekend in Sacramento through April 27.
- Following its exciting, December 2007 U.S. debut in Sacramento, organizers of Bodies Revealed are urging the public to see it before it concludes its Sacramento engagement on April 27.
In order to continue meeting the community demand for tickets, the exhibition will remain open daily until 10 p.m. The public is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for timed admission to avoid line congestion and expected crowds.
Bodies Revealed at a glance: What: A ground breaking exhibition that features real whole and partial body specimens. In addition to providing a closer look at the skeletal, muscular, respiratory and other systems of the human body, the exhibition encourages healthy lifestyle choices.
The Sacramento engagement is the North American debut of Bodies Revealed, following a highly successful three-year international tour.
The world-famous anatomical exhibition features specimens that have been meticulously dissected and preserved through an innovative process, giving visitors the opportunity to view the complexity of their own organs and systems like never before.
The exhibition takes visitors through nine galleries providing an up-close look inside the skeletal, muscular, reproductive, respiratory, circulatory and other systems of the human body. Many of the 250+ whole body specimens are dissected in vivid athletic poses, allowing the visitor to relate to everyday activities.

In its brief five month visit, Bodies Revealed made a powerful impact on the Sacramento region and quickly became a leading cultural attraction for the area. Families, adults, seniors, teens and children have all experienced the exhibition.
Medical school groups and K-12 schools have also utilized the exhibition as an educational tool offering an unprecedented tool to teach about the human body in anatomy, biology, general science and art.
High school art classes have also taken advantage of the exhibition to stage “Sketch Night” visits in order to provide students with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study and sketch the human form as never before.
